A Great Day Indeed!

Today is a scheduled seminar about Climate Change. I was watching "whose line is it anyway?" this morning, when someone from church came here, telling me; they need me there already. I hurriedly take a bath and changed.
They started the program with a motorcade starting from Pangal, to Jones. Two sakristans borrowed my motorcycle. I had to stay and help prepare the musical instruments so we could sing later.
After the motorcade, Kuya Jonald and I, can't decide which song to play. He wanted Hotel California; a song which has nothing to do with climate change. I forced him to play Umaaraw umuulan because the lyrics somewhat matched the topic. We played some Church's songs too before we had our lunch.

The motorcade video taken by Jen (choir member)

being watched by the visitors inside the church.

After eating, we rested. And while the visitors are having their film viewing inside the Church, Kuya Arjon gave me my money for previous church services equivalent to 350 pesos. Kuya Jonald and I, together with some church buddies decided to have a little drink in a Kubo near the kumbento. After my first shot, some kids who joined us in the Kubo were talking about drag race. Simon, one of the sakritan's accepted the other kid's challenge. I wanted to watch, so I went to see them have a go near the Jones bridge. It was fun really.
The Drag Race

When I returned to church, Kuya Jonald already went home. Jewel and
I was begged to drive 4 choir members home to Diarao to get their costumes for doxology.
When we got there, I saw this weird mango tree.

Just look at that! How did that tire get there?
I went all around the three and have not seen any cuts at all.

Note: Im gonna' continue this tomorrow, I'm very sleepy now

Ayt! continuation

While waiting for the seminar to end, Some YIFI and
I had a little jam at the kubo.

When the seminar is about to end, they called me inside the church to
sing "Kapaligiran" while people are signing the Climate Change Banner.

Kuya Jonald warned us that there will be a brown-out starting 6:00 to 8:00pm. I went home and took another bath before returning for the bonfire activity.
THE BONFIRE

It was the most fun part of the day. The people shared their thoughts about Climate Change, the youth performed their doxology. We ended the bonfire by singing Shalom Haverim. Before going home, I called the choir members to have a spin the bottle . They all agreed, but we can't find a bottle, so we used a the light of the flashlight instead. The holder of the flashlight should close his/her eyes and turn while we sing Shalom Haverim, and stop when we say stop. The one who will be pointed by the light will be in the center of the circle and will be asked some personal question. Cedrick and I drove home 3 choir members to Diarao afterwards.
