the last 20 yrs of my life

I had a wonderful life. I was born a "cesarean blue baby" on July 20, 1988 in Echague, Isabela Philippines. My parents thought that I was gonna die because when I came out, some intestines was accidentally tied around my neck which obviously made my breathing hard. But I survived, and here I am now, turning 21 in 5 days.

Valedictorian

The Young Adrian

They named me Adrian Mer Salvador, ian for short. I'm the youngest in the three sons of Mr & Mrs Merlito Salvador . They told me that the name Adrian came from the bible,, and Mer was taken from the first three letters of my father's name which is Merlito. I grew up here in Barangay 02 Jones, Isabela with my parents and grandparents. As a child, I really love doing outdoor activities with my childhood friends especially Mark-gil, but sadly, my parents are careful enough to not let me do such things. Maybe because they're always afraid that I would get into some kind of trouble or accident outside the house. So, I grew up as a kid who never learned how to play much of outdoor games like basketball. I'm a crybaby too. I always cry every time someone would scold me or makes me feel angry. In kindergarten, I had my first crush named, Hazeleen Pearl Ventura. She's the prettiest among my girl classmates back then. At the end of the school year, I was awarded first honor. I studied at Jones West Central School Campus 2 in elementary. I also got first honor awards from Grade 1 to Grade 2 but I dropped to 3rd honor from 3rd to 6th grade, maybe because I started to like some girls in the school and lost my focus,, and a girl named Glaiza Respicio was transferred to our school from Cebu and I have to admit, she nailed me in class which made me lost my spot. It was sad but I got over it, except for my father. Of course he always wanted me to stay on top. I have also the ugliest handwriting in class. Neither my classmates nor my teachers could understand them. My paper always looks like a bird's nest in test sand written activities. I'm a good reader though, hahaha=)

I met this incredible girl in Grade 2. Her name is Aileen Joy Rabago. At first I thought It was only a crush, but it turned to be more than that. I like seeing her everyday, I got tongue tied every time she talks to me, and for me, she's the most beautiful girl in the school even if there are lot of pretty perky girls around the campus. I considered her, my first love. I was also linked to some of my classmates namely, Glaiza Respicio; our valedictorian, Lovely Cabauatan; salutatorian, Gretchen Garma, Lalaine Mae Ladignon and others. They were all amazing girls who made my elementary years full of excitement. And I will not forget the man who played a big part in my life. Jerald Acosta, A.K.A Don-don, he taught me how to play the guitar which is my favorite hobby up to now.

Growing up

High school life is nothing different. You would only adjust a bit because of the new people from different places whom you'll be with everyday.I studied at Jones Rural School. Of course it was easy for me to adjust because the school is only 1 kilometer away from our house. In high school, I'm one of the famous kid in school. Girls from the juniors and seniors had crush on me. I can't even remember their names now. I had lots of girlfriends back then. Most of them are 2 or 1 yr older than me. Of course all of them are pretty. I also became a school band's guitarist. I joined instrumental solo contest twice and I wasn't talented enough to win one. I became a CAT officer, I won the SBO election for escort twice, we won the Christmas Party battle of the bands, freshmen chose me as 1 of their campus idols when I was in 3rd yr, we had a successful JS Prom,
I got 3 awards in graduation including guitarist of the year. And that summarizes my high school days.

JS Prom

Grown up

While I'm in high school, I tried to take the entrance test for UP because I wanted to take up Conservatory of music in college, but I didn't pass, so, no other choice but to turn to my 2nd course on the list, Marine Transportation. I studied at PMMS Colleges Las Pinas. Most of the students are boys. I had many friends, and I hated bullies. Yeah bullies are everywhere in Manila. Some of them even tried to recruit me in their fraternity but I refused. I wanted to study hard and learn the life of a seaman. I use to like the computer subject in first yr. swimming lessons too, and literature in 3rd yr. I lived in my brother's apartment in Muntinlupa together with Mac who studied there also. 2 any half years later, we transferred to Carmona, Cavite where My brother bought a new house. I experienced long trips from Cavite to Las Pinas since then. My brother's passenger jeep is giving me 600 peso boundary daily. That's where I get my allowance. I survived college, but, 3 days before my graduation, my father died. Pretty ironic right? He's suppose to attend the ceremony with my Mom but I ended up going with my brother's fiance and some people who's not member of the family. Sad experience but I'm moving on. Everyone Should. At least Papa knows I graduated and I know he's proud. Very proud.

New Ian

So here I am now, turning 21. Happy, but still got lots of dreams, and I'm gonna get them all with the help of God and hard work. I wish my dad could see me now. And I hope things will improve about me. My attitude, my principle, my life, my music=) Thanks everyone for making my life complete.
